For goodness osake!
So Dexter and I had a brilliant dinner at Funaki last night. We had warm sake and it was so fucking delicious that I'd actually throw some back now, yes. Woohoo! It made us uber red and so silly that we almost pissed ourselves laughing about rubbish nonsense things! We had awesome food too, Gyu no tataki, Yosenabe, Tenpura, Sushi, Kuro buta, and Flying Fish roe! Just the 2 of us. He loved it and we are gonna try to go back again before he leaves!
The poor dear didn't get to snowboard yesterday, visibility was too bad! So he went to the 100yen store to buy 2 shelf thingies for me so 'more space can be created for all the rubbish nonsense around the house'. Not bad, Day 3. I expected him to freak out about the chaos, that I call the shanty shack, much much earlier. I brought him to the recycle store in Wadayama and he loved it. He wants to buy some kind of bamboo, rope contraption thingy that looks really cool, but we are going to try to google it first, because we have no idea what the hell it is. It's probably an old school yoke or something like that. But seriously, who knows?
I liberated myself from the clutches of work tomorrow and Friday! So here's to snowboarding all day tomorrow and Friday, Mikuniya (hopefully the reservation goes through!) on Thursday night, karaoke on Friday, Kyoto and Osaka on Saturday and back to basics on Sunday!
