Thought I'd actually update this.... insomnia is here, and I have to be up for work in 5 hours :)
The weekend was great, especially since I chose to do my reenacting public event in Ohio over trying to make the F-1 race! Wow. But yeah, Fort Meigs (just south of Toledo in Perrysburg, OH) was way cool.... twas a "timeline" public event, where everyone from Romans, medieval, colonial, American Revolution, 1812 (most appropriate since the fort is an 1812-era fort, and was under siege by the Brits in that one), Civil War, and 20th century including my specialty, WW2. I went as a Soviet infantryman from WW2 (what the Russians call the "Great Patriotic War"), and we set up a big tent display complete with authentic field desk/radio and weapons. Got to see my old bud Chris, who was doing Vietnam.... I ended up hanging out & partying with him & the 'Nam dudes a lot. They had the best music! haha Got to handle some Roman reenacting items.... these guys have to make a lot of their stuff by hand, which rocks (

Aside from that, REALLY wanting to see the fall of the Empire.... ERRRRR, I mean, the Bush regime. Dare to dream...........................
