Saw a new ad for The Woman In Black and there was a clown doll in it. A possibly wooden with chipping paint clown doll. A clown. And a doll. Combined. What is this waking nightmare I've stumbled into?
I still want to see the movie but. But. CLOWN DOLL. *hides behind fingers*
Maybe the timing was right, maybe it was simply better than last week's premiere... but I loved the new episode of Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy tonight. The animation was glorious. And the trippiness was spot-on instead of just head-tilt-inducing. Loved the ghost of the Flea bit the most. Initially, I thought: "Hey, that's supposed to be William Blake!" (Even the style and presence of God seemed like a nod to Blake.) But then I remembered: "John Donne wrote 'The Flea,' you moron, not Blake." Then I thought: "Does it matter?" Then I answered myself, as you do when you're slightly unhinged, "Nope." And then I realized that Blake did a painting called
The Ghost of a Flea, and I felt even more moronic. But then I heard the Flea's Sunflash-esque laugh, which made me giggle with delight. So at least I'm a happy moron.
Also, Dave! ♥ And Mike! Twice the Mike! :D
Noel Fielding owns my soul.
Lucky that my soul is like a company with multiple shareholders, as Benedict Cumberbatch owns my soul as well.
First, he has to be all awesome in Sherlock with his brilliant deductions:
Like a well-oiled machine:
(Yeah, I said "well-oiled." *undermines the beauty of the gif with dirty innuendo*)
Then he has to go and look like this:
And sound like a vocal clone of Alan Rickman, even when he's not intentionally mimicking him.
My loins are at your mercy, sir.
Regarding other things and/or people that and/or who own my soul: SPN is back tomorrow! The boys are back! YES.
Also, the new Mark Lanegan record (plus the 7-inch of "Gravedigger's Song" that I also ordered) arrived early! I am loving Blues Funeral so very much. At the moment, "Harborview Hospital" is probably my favorite song off of it.
