Things that are good:
• Blisters on my fingers from playing guitar again.
• Renting Deadwood. Very hooked. Fascinating characters, almost all of whom are flawed, which I love. And more women-strong, complex women!-than I'd ever expect from a western. Also, salty-tongued prospector!Jim Beaver amuses me greatly. And Timothy Olyphant? Yes please.
• New No Reservations episodes starting Monday. All hail the god of snark.
• Winchesterday is nigh. And my curiosity over the 6.15 premise now exceeds my dread over the potential secondhand embarrassment.
• Getting set up for high speed next week. Finally. Why, hello thar, 21st century.
• Magnet's 120 reasons to live reminding me of loveliness like the Connells (good lord, I have that album on cassette tape... how do I get that onto iTunes?) and this:
