Random useless trivia:
Out of boredom, I decided to watch some of the videos on my hard drive. One of those was a clip of Jensen on Cybil (in which he was very twinky and hardly had any lines, but did do a lot of poignant nodding which only served to emphasize the floppiness of his exceedingly floppy hair... and, dear god, that voice sounds so different!). Anyway, I recognized a familiar face in the clip: Dedee Pfeiffer, who played Kate Milligan in "Jump The Shark." In Cybil, she played Jensen's character's former babysitter, upon whom he'd had a crush. Twelve years later, Jensen's freed from the confines of his floppy hair and Pfieffer's character gets freed of her head. Good times.
Also, while poking around, I found these two interesting posts:
- A timeline culled from S5 so far, basically demonstrating that the boys' split lasted at least three months (which adds a lot more weight to their reunion).
- A look at the lighting and cinematography of 5.04. I just love how much care the crew put into making this show beautiful and meaningful.
In non-SPN (but still trivial) news, I finally finished up Angel last night. There may have been tears. I'm not sure how I feel about that ending though.
