So, my two biggest crushes at the moment both sleep in the nude. Huh. *grins* And, Hugh, honey, you are sexy. No, not in the typical way. Perhaps there's no rhyme or reason for it. But it's there. Scruffy and self-deprecating and hilarious and sexeh. House is sexy, too, but in a different way. Possibly because he's so scarred and definitely because ( Read more... )

"Did anyone else find that, at certain angles, Goodwin looked somewhat Bean-ish?"
Yes, yes and yes! Every single time he came on screen I kept thinking damn that man look like Sean Bean.
I'm not liking the way the show is heading. I like Eko however the rest are either boring or I just don't care. I'm sorry but I miss my cast and I miss the storyline. I'm emotionally invested in the characters that we've been watching for an entire season (who they insist on killing off) and I just miss the good old days. However everyone is reunited, so yay! Now comes the great search for Walt. Can I say I miss Shannon. Weird eh? She had really grown on me.

Hee. So it wasn't just me then? Guh, I rather wish he wasn't the bad guy, so he could have stuck around and added some more prettiness (not that there isn't enough pretty on the island already, but still).

*nods* Honestly, I think they could have inserted the key points from last night's episode into a "regular" episode, thereby still giving us our main group. Because, all in all, we didn't learn a lot of new stuff--they just provided a visual representation of what Ana Lucia already revealed in a previous episode. At least next week is back to the originals.

I miss Shannon too. I'd really begun to appreciate her and I can't help but like Maggie (I mean, she's a book nerd, gotta love that). The way they ended her character felt cheap, like it was only for shock value. I'm waiting to see if they'll offer a satisfying reason for the death somehow in the storyline, but I'm not holding my breath.

Btw, did you see this? Eep, fuck, if the producers got Lij or Billy onto the show, I'd fucking squee myself silly.

No, not at all. I was seriously rooting for him to be a good guy cause he was one of the few from that camp that I actually felt more then "hmm, that's interesting" about. And it had everything to do with him being a Bean look alike. The rough manly type ( ... )

*smacks lips* Yesss.

She seems like she's ready to snap at any minute. I mean, she's a psychologist, so... can't say we weren't warned.

That's what I thought too, at first. Plus, it would stand to reason that she would be a bit jittery and babbly (yep, making up words) just after the crash. Yet, as the days progressed, she still seemed to have that slightly unhinged quality about her. I can't put my finger on it... just a general sense of unease.

*nods* Ana's quite the bad ass, tougher than Kate, but still has a humanizing bit of vulnerability.

I thought the promo said next week...? Hmm. *chews lip* Hope so.

The manner in which they jump-cut from day to day was a bit unsettling. Felt like the scenes before each blackout were lobbed off or something.

Hee, the fruitcake theory sounds very plausible. And other LJers have pointed out that Rose seems "good," for another example, so why not her? Then again, maybe the Others' definition of "good" is, in fact, "malleable." Maybe the adults they were picking out were easily-impressionable ones. *rubs temples* Ugh ( ... )

It occurred to me that it really did take Ana a while to remember that Goodwin was dry and realize that his timing was off. It wasn't until the Nathan situation raised the possibility of the Others having infiltrated (and maybe until Nathan's death produced the idea that the infiltrator wasn't in fact Nathan) that Ana thought back and realized Goodwin's story didn't hang together.

OMGYES. Very much so. And I actually said to Dan at one point, "you know, he looks a lot like Sean Bean. If he really were Sean Bean he'd have to turn out to be the bad guy. But he's not so it's okay." Hahaha, how wrong I was...

LOL Poor Bean. If it had been him, that would have given away the plot twist FAR too early, i.e. immediately. However, we would have had the deliciousness of his accent.
