finally got these up on a hosting site. these are the last of my pictures that were any good at all. the friend that i travelled is just finishing up working on the pics that she took. now those are some pictures - will get them up as soon as i have them.

THese are some of the mosr (pardon the words) adorable little churches! Any pics of the insides?

most of the near 400 churches on the island - an island that you can drive across in 40 minutes - are family churches and are only open for family baptisms, weddings and the feast day of the church. churches that i was able to enter, the priests usually gave me a discouraging shake of the head when i held my camera up to take pictures inside.
