Anyways, I am so happy to be done with exams. Everything has just been fun fun fun since Thursday :) The last one went pretty well too. Saturday was the summer party and it was flippin huge. It was on the downs, which is kind of like a quad type of thing. I got there around 2:30pm and watched the England v. Jamaica football match (England torched them 6-0, it was pretty awesome). Had some beer, hot dog, hung out with Yvette and watched the band that was playing on the main stage (there was a full size main stage). The weather was perfect. Not only was it sunny and clear all day, but it was actually hot (which is kind of a rarity here). To me, that is absolutely miraculous. After awhile we walked over to the vert ramp and saw people doing some crazy things on skateboards, roller blades, a scooter. The craziest would be a 540 (which is easy on Tony Hawk, lol, but looks very impressive in real life) and the kid easily landing flips on roller blades. We found Richard after awhile and he had snuck in some mixed drink which was really strong haha. We watched some more goings on at the main stage and then came back to hall for dinner. There about five people eating dinner lol. We got in and out of there pretty fast and pretty much went straight back to the party. Checked out some of the other tents (r&b, firefly, mostly dancing stuff that hadn't really kicked off yet since it wasn't dark yet. i heard it got packed in those later tho.) After this point I hung out with Sanjay and a couple others the rest of the time. It was crowded most of the day, but this is when it really started getting crowded. We wandered around a bit, they went for food and I went to get another drink. By this time it was 9pm and it took a full hour to get through the "line" so when I finally did get to the front I got two drinks instead of one (they make you buy tokens to buy the drinks with, I had enough left for two and wasn't waiting in line again). Found Sanjay, went back over to the main stage where Dirty Pretty Things were about to start. Was a bit tipsy during their set and was dancing around a little bit haha. They were pretty good tho, people seemed to know their stuff already. They finished at 11, we left, went to Sanjay's room, ate some pizza, listened to some music and what not, came back around 2:30am. Best university sponsored party ever.
