Exams, Fort Minor, Mortal Kombat

Exams have started (blah), I did one yesterday and have two left to go (tuesday and june 1). Yesterday's was philosophy and it went okay (could've gone better, could've gone worse). I really despised the format of it though. One essay, one hour, go. Thank goodness it was one out of a choice of four...but still I think that situation leads to incoherency. Anyways, it's over hurray. Tuesday I have a political science exam (two essays, two hours...how exciting). ONce that's over I'll be able to chill a little more, because I'll have over a week to prepare for my New Hollywood exam. I'm really looking forward to June 1...(not the exam part obviously) but after that...I'm picking up the issue of Kerrang! (pretty much the UK's best rock magazine) which comes out on May 31. I'm excited for this because it will come with a CD featuring covers of some great rock songs by some great bands...more about that later I suppose.

For those interested, Fort Minor and Holly Brook will be performing "Where'd You Go" on Jay Leno this Wednesday May 24. Check it out. Let me know how it was! The success this song has had has been pretty unexpected because until it came out as a single Fort Minor has been pretty underground...other singles haven't had much success and sales figures haven't been very high. But now WYG comes out and has been kicking TRL's ass and I guess that must mean it's getting some radio play as well. And just when Linkin Park is hitting the studio lol. (New LP album could be out as early as August or September, probably by the end of the year for sure).

I'm attempting to acquire Mortal Kombat II online hehe. Britto and I watched Mortal Kombat: Annihalation a week or two ago and oh man was it terrible lol. We turned it off after about half an hour. I hadn't seen it since the theater and wow...I don't remember it being such an atrocity. It is quite a good laugh tho. Then he went and downloaded the Mortal Kombat song from the first one and we've been listening to that alot. It makes me want me to get my hands on the first MK soundtrack again hehe...that whole thing was great. Hasta luego!
