Self-indulgent is another word I would use to describe how I feel when I am with these two guys. Trying hard not to feel too guilty about absorbing the time I intrude upon and keep them from the time they spend together."
I've heard from any number of "external" friends that they just had this overwhelming feeling of comfort and belonging when they were with us...and that sounds self-agrandizing, but really it's not...we look at our friends like family really...and I think it's great that you went to the party and got to experience some of that first hand.
