NYC BABY!!
ok so last night i went to NYC with my roomies to see the christmas tree lighting in rockafeller center!!! it was the best night i've had in awhile!
we left at like 5:00 and got there at like 7:30 there was a ton of traffic. my suitemate anna's friend, keith, drove us, and the poor guy had to listen to four girls sing ashely simpson for 30 minutes lol. then we stopped at a rest stop and i got starbucks....mmmmm...carmel mochiatto!!
we drove to hoboken to steven's institute to meet up with 2 of keiths friends, then we took the path train into the city. when we finally got to rockafeller center it was so packed you could even get close, we ended up standing like 2 blocks away and watching it get lit on a huge tv screen lol...it was still cool to just be there though.
after that we met up with brian and all went to this really cute mexican restaurant. we all got served, so needless to say...we all got pretty hammered. i had a mohito, shared 2 vodka and cranberries and a corona with brian, and had a lemon drop shot with my roomies and brian. then, i guess cuz there were so many people and the bill was so much, we got a free chocolate margarita to split, another lemon drop shot and a shot of vodka.
we left the restaurant and went back over by the tree to actually see it close up this time. while we were standing there, a guy proposed to his girlfriend, me and mish cried for a minute cuz it was so sweet...and then being the inconsiderate drunk i am i proposed to mish...luckily she said yes!! lol...then i proceeded to tell her that i was bearing gods child and it was gonna be a girl this time...so we were gonna name it jesette haha. after that we walked around for a while and i played tour guide claiming that everything was the oldest thing in new york.
Then anna and i proceeded to sing christmas songs very loudly while walking around...just to show people how drunk we were haha
we stopped at grand central station for a bathroom break, and while me and mish were sitting outside some 40 year old banker came over and tried to flirt with us. we were having a cigarette and he told us we should quit, then he looked at me and said "while you should quit, she just looks like a bad seed". but mish thought that he said she had bad teeth so he tried to talk to us about teeth for awhile. he told us that his wife went to drexel and kristen responded to that by saying "i think you should go home to your wife" so he left.
we were finally ready to go back, but we couldn't find the right subway station that took us to the path train. after about 30 mins of walking around we found it. some smelly dirty guy fell asleep on me on the ride back, it was so gross then we finally got back to the car and came back at like 4.
it was an awesome night that i hope we have a repeat of...maybe next time with some of my NEPA friends!! lol
