Saturday:
OK. We didn't head toward the outlets until after 4 pm. I was up and out of my bed berfore 9am, something I hate to do on my day off. I like to lounge, watch toons, doze, the usual. One good thing that came out of going late was that no one wanted to go with us. Get this: all she bought.. I swear I'm not lying.. was a bottle of Metaxa . METAXA!!!

It's not rare. It's not hard to find. It's not that expensive. All she wanted was liquor. I keep telling people my sister is an alchie, but do they listen? Noooooooo! I almost bought some Absinthe (with wormwood!), but I wasn't thrilled with dropping $70 on something I nor anyone else I know has tasted. The workers in the store told me if I didn't like Jeager, I wasn't going to like. To be honest I've never had Jeagermister or however it's spelled. I've never wanted to. They told me it's extremely licoricey. I loathe licorice. So there you go, no absinthe for Ally. I bought a huge bottle of Midori

and some mango liquer made by a company of which I've never heard. It's called Bols Mango Smash. I went to their site and they don't even have it listed among their products. I'll worry later. Oh and I bought some new fangled French stuff cuz I like the bottle. It looks like perfume. I once bought a perfume because the bottle looked like a drink. It's not the best smelling thing. I know. I don't learn my lessons. I'm a sucka, but I'm cute in my suckerness. Besides, it really is a pretty bottle. See...

Speaking of my purchases.. I bought 4 pairs of jeans (buy one get one) and 2 pairs of shoes (buy one get one). After Friday I didn't plan on buying anything. Oh I also bought 2 rings from the QVC outlet. DAMNIT! They were half price.

Me likey the half price. I have a weakness. Like I said I don't like shopping, but I like buying. The difference? I don't like looking for things, going store to store, checking the prices, etc. I like to know what I want, get in and get out. I don't shop. I buy. If I see it and like it, I buy it if I have the money. If I don't have the money, I save until I do. If I don't want it by then, good I didn't really need it anyway. The only, and I mean only, things I shop for and love are (in no particular order): 1) electronics (Best Buy is my favorite store, honestly), (2) movies, (3) music, (4) shoes (not even telling how many pairs I own), (5) cards (weird I know but I can spend hours in a card store), (6) jewelry (hence the 2 rings); and 7) toys (I will push a kid over in the FAO Schwartz in NYC).
