Shiina Ringo - La Salle de Bain
I hope you enjoy the video for La Salle de Bain. I think it's almost beautiful to watch especially with the music. What tickles me is that the song title translates into bathroom, but in the chorus she states "...when I melt down entirely immediately bon appetit." Uh? EW! "I'm not afraid of a little boredom." She's recently completed a soundtrack. I wonder if this is one of the songs. It sounds like it should be on.
I've been listening to Ringo's STEM for awhile now. In my mind I saw a Michelle Branch (is that the piano girl's name?)/ Jewel type of chic. Yes, you could even say she's a little Bjork-esque (until you hear her rock out but that's another post). Out of curiosity I decided to find out what she looked like and found out she was Japanese. The songs I have are in English (not Japanglish or even Engrish), which is unusual for a Japanese artist in Japan (as opposed to those who live here).
Don't turn your noses up as some of you are want to do and say "here she goes again." Ringo is an excellent musician and any fan of music should listen.
