Jenn and I saw
Finding Amanda via Film Society this evening. It was a cute little movie, but nothing too tremendous. I laughed a lot at the one-liners during the movie, but after I thought about it on the way home, I realized it didn't hold up very well. Matthew Broderick and Brittany Snow do really well, however. Maura Tierney's role is pretty thankless.
The movie did melt (!) in the middle, but they were able to splice it. There was a five minute break, and they were able to get it to work again. It reminded me of Persona, except this wasn't purposeful.
I finished
Rant. It was just eh for me. There were some good passages, but, overall, I felt it lacked focus.
My lace yarn arrived. I want to dive right into the lace project, but I need to wind the yarn, and I'm not getting into that tonight.
I think I'll go to yoga tomorrow. I also need to hit the grocery store (so I can get in bento mode again), and possibly do some laundry. I've got baseball Wednesday and book club Thursday, and I think Jenn and I may also try and do yoga Friday and Saturday as well. Yes, this is a lot of yoga, but I'm trying to ramp up. What I really need to do is incorporate home practice in the mornings, like I was doing before my life became utter craziness this past March.
