Good yoga class tonight. I was in the bamboo studio for the first time. It's smaller than the earth studio, but it was nice. The class was packed, and so it got really hot, but yours truly was right under the air conditioning vent. Hell yeah! ;) Anyhow, my planks are getting easier, my shoulder stand is stronger, and I was sort of able to hold the crow pose for a few seconds. I wonder who the regular instructor for this Tuesday class is, hmm. But, yes, once I am done with my current job, yoga twice a week. Yes.
I went to McDonalds after yoga. There is something wrong with this, I know. But at least I got a chicken sandwich. ;)
After I mentioned in a recent post that I was interested only in simple knitting projects, I got a weird yen to do a lace piece. I'll probably curse myself while I'm working on it. I decided on
Rosebuds and Climbing Roses from
Lavish Lace. A few years ago, I made
A Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness. (See

Rainstorm and Desert Dusk for my mom (

I decided to use a lace weight I'm familiar with,
Knit Picks' Shimmer, in Sherry. It's going to be airier than the fingerweight version, and I may just do the more open part of the pattern. We'll see.
If I survive this, I may attempt to tackle some of my more complex cable patterns again.
