Random Tuesday Notes
I am getting more and more excited about Shutter Island. Is it weird that I seem to universally love Dennis Lehane adaptations, but I have no desire to read the novels? I have to wonder if its because I've heard he woefully underwrites female characters. Who knows. I still loved the cinematic adaptation of Mystic River, which seems to be an unpopular view.
I've been listening to Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Show Your Bones a lot recently, even more than when it first came out. I really hope they make another album. Knowing me and my lack of attention to the industry, they've already broken up and it flew right over my head.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Samuel/Sheppard trade rumors. I like Lito. I don't think his best days are over.
