but it's been a good run so far. I started the elementary school volunteering today. I was pretty much terrified going into it cuz the coordinator told me I had the worst class in the school. They are fourth graders and when i got there they were taking the MEAP. But two kids in the class are from Liberia and weren't testing so we just went and hung out in the library doing math and reading and stuff. It was awesome. They are way behind in reading because they hardly know english in the first place. But they are totally awesome and were asking me to come back tomorrow. Cutest ever.
i just got a phone bill for 11¢. i am to pay 300% of that for shipping.
i had a dream last night that i played in Elvis Costello's first band. I played the 'keyboards' (which were actually made of a book case where i pulled on different books for different notes). whatever.
i started to get sick a few days ago. I said, "oh, uh-uh. no way." Yeah then i punched that cold in the face, tried to get away, grabbed him, pulled him back; I grabbed it by the big throat, i said "fuck you, cold." ..aka, i pounded water, orange juice, tea, vitamins, and naps. but i showed him who's boss one way or another.
the more stuff i learn in TE150, the more i realize how awful a teacher my calc prof is. (eh, dillon?)
