Looking to rent a room
Hello there Philly veggies!
I am transferring to Drexel U in the fall, and thought maybe I would ask here if anyone was looking for a roommate come September.
I plan on living in Philly full time, no going back to mom and dads in the summer, so I would be a long term tenant for at least the next two years of school.
I am looking to be in the University City area and am looking to pay under $600 a month including utilities.
I have seen a few ads on craigslist, but I really would love to live in a place with at least one other vegetarian or vegan.
Or also if you are looking to rent a place in the area as well but are looking for roommates before you sign a lease on a place let me know.
About me:
I am almost 21 (will be at the end of August), Female, strict vegetarian looking to be vegan once I get out of my parents house.
I am a fashion merchandising major at Drexel U, creative, eccentric.
I do not smoke, incredibly rarely drink, don't do the 420 or any other drugs (you can smoke weed, but I draw the line about there, I don't want anything to do with junkies or someone that could get me arrested), I am not one to be involved in big parties very often but I can deal (I am talking like big parties every weekend night are something I would not like, but the occasional birthday party or Halloween party or something is fine), and small entertaining is fine with me
I can cook, clean, and generally be respectful of the people I live with, I am responsible and will pay my rent on time. I am drama free and laid back, I would spend a good portion of my time at school or doing school work, and I intend to find a job once I move out there so I don't drain my savings.
I come with my own furniture and a small bird called a parrotlet which is not very loud or noisey and would probably stay in my room all the time, I am open to living with other animals.
