Bulk vegan foods?
Here's a question. I'm on the exec board of a student group at Temple. In the beginning of the Fall semester, we want to do a kickoff barbecue thing. Despite the fact that I'm our lone vegan, I want to make sure we have some vegan options for new/propsective members at this event. (El oh el, I just realized that's a blatantly shameless plug.)
Ahem. Anyway, now to my question:
Does anyone know where I could get vegan hot dog & hamburger rolls in bulk? Also, does anyone know where I could get vegan hot dogs, hamburgers & cheese in bulk?
I know that vegan Boca burgers can be found at BJ's, however, does anyone know of any other options? (I realize that rolls & hot dogs might be found there, as well, but the last time I was there, I think all the veggie dogs/rolls were non-vegan.) I would prefer to stay with locally owned companies, especially for the rolls. I had hoped that maybe the Yves website would allow you to buy hot dogs by the case, but it appears that they are one of those companies that wants you to purchase things through stores only.
Obviously, this isn't an immediate need, but I'm trying to get my options laid out before going to the president of our group with the costs for the event. By the time the semester rolls around, I should be permanently located in the city and should have a Philly Car Share account. I prefer to use Septa whenever necessary, but for something like this, I'm fine with driving (within reason).
