NYC Field Trip Aug 6, Saturday
Hey all!
For those interested, Philly Lolitas will be taking a day trip to NYC for a long day of FUN TIMES. We will be hitting LOTS of venues such as the Lolita shop Tokyo Rebel, Kinokuniya Book store, etc. It's going to be a "walking tour" so there will be much trekking through the big apple. There is also a possible meet & greet with NYC Lolitas if it can be arranged.

AUGUST 6th SATURDAY >> DATE IS TENTATIVE
*Tokyo Rebel is NOT open on Sunday so if the majority want to visit it, the date should be a Sat/weekday.
Frilladelphians are taking a day trip to NYC! We're going on a walking "tour" of NYC and stopping by the following neighborhoods for some venues (from north to south)...
- Uptown: Metropolitan Museum of Art
- Rockefeller Center: Kinokuniya Bookstore, Book-Off
- East Village/St. Marks: Tokyo Rebel
- K-Town (34th & Broadway)
- Chinatown (Canal)
- Mitsuwa (Edgewater, NJ)
If there is a place you'd like to visit, please make a note and we will see where we can fit it in :D

Some nittygritty...
Please bring...
- Money: cards & cash (transportation/food/gifts/etc.)
- Water/Beverage
- WALKING SHOES or a change of shoes. This is mostly a walking tour. Please try to dress comfortably!
- Photo ID/Student ID (in the case that it is required - especially for discounts!)
Weather...
To be announced - Most likely, it will be WARM so please dress accordingly. Heat strokes in Lolita are not pretty.... Please plan on bringing a parasol or umbrella once the weather information is confirmed.
Transportation...
There are a VARIETY of ways to get into Manhattan. Be aware of the tolls/parking fees if driving, train & bus fares. There are coach buses in Chinatown (Philly) that run up to NYC Chinatown. If going by train, you can take Septa, transfer to Patco & then transfer to NY Metro. Once we decide our meeting location, this will change to reflect how to get there.
We will be traveling in a group. If there is a desire to split up, I would like to ask Lolitas to bunch into a group of 3-4 minimum (no lone ranger Lolitas please!). We want to keep everyone safe as this is a much larger city than Philly and we are going to attract attention with our clothing. We will exchange phone numbers closer to the event so we can all stay in touch in the case something comes up/happens/etc.
