I quit my job yesterday.
Gave 1 week's notice.
Nothing was wrong with the job itself, but the equation of work+school-sleep was not sustainable. It's week 4 of 17 and I was starting to slip behind in school, and that is unacceptable. I doze off at work, and struggle to get to classes on time. I need the money, but I cannot fail at school again. No way.
I have asked the temp agency to look for evening positions for maybe 2-3 days a week instead of 5, but they haven't got anything at all for evenings at the moment, so I'll likely be exploring the onderful world of retail soon. Wheeee.
I have a student loan due sometime soon, but it'll only be about a grand, which is still sadly short of my credit card debt. Blah. I got a Gold Card offer from AmEx yesterday for my years of faithful customership... I won't say I wasn't (and still am kinda) tempted.
I'm at a kiosk at school and don't have the links handy, but you should head over to youtube and look for "Olbermann special message" or "Olbermann sept 11" [I think] to find some of the most strongly-stated words I've seen in the media against the president. Good times.
Anyone that owes me anything, now would be a good time to pay up! :s
...and anyone that I owe, do let me know, because I really can't think of anyone (save 1) I owe but I suspect I might have a couple out there.
