I have dealt with a couple of big school bureaucracies before, but Fresno State's is by far the most impenetrable.
Their website is fucking useless.
Half the links seem to be updated only occasionally (like this one, that shows faculty hours for a year ago), if at all. Vital information, regarding such things as what classes and AP Test scores are given credit, seems to be playfully strewn about in a fucked up game of hide and seek. Their 'Online Class Schedule' is no more than a set of .pdf files to simulate the paper version, not a searchable real-time database. I mean god damn. USELESS!
I now have to make an appointment to see a counselor for things I've always been able to do online in the past. Things I could do at Cal 5 years ago. Things I could have managed with a simple walk-in session, no appointment needed. Ugh. Fucking cheapass useless state school.
