The 05-06 school is just around the corner kids and here's my Top 10 things I'm most looking forward to during the school year.
10. Hanging out with Derek: Doing this Top Ten list reminded me of the Top 10 Bulletin Board we did during the school year. Derek only has a semester left and i'm going to try to help him make the best of it.
9. OPE: The conference I'm going to in early March to become a Hall Director at some other college.
8. Working in the South Quad Success Center again: I've really missed working in that office. I had so much fun and that fun will only continue with Michelle serving as the AD to South Quad now.
7. FYE: I only need 4 credits of 300 level class and this will serve as 3 of those. Dannie first sparked my interest in this program but I told her i wouldn't have the time. Then I thought about it some more and now I'm the mentor and my instructor is Michelle Veith. So thanks again Dannie for getting me interested in this class
6. RA Training: As odd as this sounds I'm really looking forward to that atmosphere again and getting to see all my staff friends again as well as getting to know the new Merrill Staff. I'm really excited to have Joe Doane on staff this year. He's come a long way since freshmen year and I'm proud to say that Joe is my first resident to become a staff member. So Fire Up for a great year.
5. Freshmen: I'm looking forward to a new group of students on my floor
4. Roommates: Corey and Brock. I know Corey and I'm really excited to room with him this year. Brock is a friend of Corey's from high school and he'll be a freshmen. I've never met him but I'm looking forward to having a freshmen roommate.
3. Keeping in better touch with friends: I've grown accustom to just living the Merrill life so this year i'm going ot make more of an effort to chill with my non merrill friends. ie Go to the Cabin with the crew.
2. Manchester, Indiana: I'm really looking forward to visiting Nick in his new stomping grounds. I'm really excited for him and I think he'll be a tremendous RHD down there. I just can't wait to go down and visit for a weekend.
And the #1 thing i'm looking forward to this school year is...
1. GRADUATION! May 06. Yay baby, When I started school Pearl Jam's Last Kiss was #1 on the charts back in the last millenium, 1999 to be more exact. Needless to say in May '06 we're going to party like it's 1999.
