going for the gross factor
in an effort to appease mum, i awakened early this morning. bored and exhausted about five minutes into my stint, i decided to see what the good old internet had to offer me. i signed onto msn, because they never fail to offer sick entertainment, and was not let down. on the sign in page was a little link for the gross out quiz. most of it was not that surprising - after a year in bio with mclaren, I had learned long ago to swallow my gut. what really surprised me were the pictures, the close ups that msn encarta provided. my favorite was the little diddy on bed bugs, so i have included >
fyi: the bed bug is a small, wingless (actually, reduced wing), parasitic, bloodsucking insect that feeds on mammals, especially humans. often a carrier of infectious diseases, it is so named because it hides during the day and often bites humans at night, while they are in bed.
