*headdesk* No, I actual did that Thursday when I realized that as my mind was wondering during a conference call I had written a Bones fic. I have no right writing a Bones fic. I’ve only seen about half a dozen or so episodes and until last week I was calling Hodgins Hodges. I should not be writing this until after I’ve seen season one, which is in my queue on NetFlix. But low and behold… here it is.

Also, I’m about 95% sure that the academic and archeological communities have started using the name Jesus ben Joseph for the "mortal" name of Jesus Christ. (I’m pretty sure I read it in Biblical Archeology Review or Smithsonian Magazine, but I can’t remember if it is ben Joseph, benJoseph, Ben Joseph, or BenJoseph. It literally means Jesus Son of Joseph and would have been a strikingly common name in ancient Israel.) Since, Brennan has been very clear on her beliefs, I felt she’d most like use the scientific name.
