The title of this fic is from Carrie Underwood’s “Don’t Forget to Remember Me.” Every time I hear this song the image of an 18-year-old Erin Hunnicutt packing up a VW Bug and heading across country. I tried writing that fic, but it didn’t work. So, instead I used this line for this fic. (Is it bad that I know every line of every Carrie Underwood song?)

This fic is dedicated to my Beej, tvjunkie1013. Of everyone in my life, she probably understands the significance of this more than anyone else. Thanks for being the greatest brain!sister ever. I love you, sweetheart. *hugs and kisses*
