darn, i couldn't find it on youtube. anyway, lightspeed champion is basically amazing and you don't really need to know more to download this song. it starts really slow and then it turns into this brilliant rich sound. ask fanxx00_o, if you doubt my words.

apparently i'm doomed as this is not on youtube either. empires sold this song in a pay-as-much-as-you-want system, and i don't regret paying $1.50 for this song at all. it's just as good as every other song empires released in the past. or better. it's surely better than bang. and their new album comes out in a few weeks so i can switch back to full-on fangirl mode, finally.

let me start by saying that this song is ridiculous. it also has a slightly pornographic video. but it's also a really fun song and i think it would be ideal for a summer mixtape but i'm not sure bc it's not summer yet.

mumford and sons have this really amazing album you need to check out, and it was pretty hard to choose a song from it bc you know, it's amazing, but i had to choose something, so i chose the cave bc it's probably very catchy and it was also on skins! so it might be familiar.

it's another one of those songs with a summer feeling. also, look at this album cover. brilliant. it's a song for shark-lovers.

beach house is one of the first bands i discovered this year. the album they released early this year is just beautiful, it's calm, it's relaxing, and still, all songs are recognizable, it's just a great listen from start to end, and i'm being totally serious here. this song is amazing and so are the rest of the songs on their album.

i'm getting lost in your curls... yeah it's kind of cheesy but it's still amazing. and it's animal collective!! they can do no wrong.
Δ the drums - i felt stupid {mp3|youtube}
another summer song. this can only mean that it should really be summer now. the drums are really cool. i listened to radio one yesterday and one of the drums was on the phone and one of their new songs was played, which is not this song. this song is the first song i ever really liked by the drums and tbh i'm not really familiar with the rest of their work but i imagine it's all ~brilliant~.

apparatjik is the bestest supergroup ever. who's in apparatjik? guy berryman from coldplay (semi-cool), magne furuholmen from a-ha (very cool) and JONAS BJERRE FROM MEW (out of this world!!!11) and another guy. they post loads of pictures and ~artistic videos on their facebook/youtube/whatever, so they're like a dream come true for fans with computers. their album is amazing, part of it is funky/mindfuq, the other part is calmer/beautiful, i chose a calm song because i don't want to scare you guys off, but naturally the whole album it worth checking out.

i'm feeling a huge wave of second-hand embarrassment for writing the title of this song down. it's terrible and cringe-worthy. but still, it's a good song, it was song of the day on popjustice.com a while ago and that should tell you a thing or two about this song. (popjustice said it was 'very good indeed' if you're too lazy to click). the title still sucks.

the album they released this year is completely brilliant, it's like a mixture of music and noise, but it's still totally listenable, beautiful even. basically the whole album is made up of different noises (not just instruments, they also used knives for example), but put together, these noises create the perfect harmony, the perfect sound. and this is how this song was born. no knives in this one though.

delphic think they're an intellectual band. they have a bunch of foreign words among their song titles. i have to admit, their album didn't amaze me, but some of the songs are still very good, including this one. this song is the album opener btw so it kind of had to be good bc nobody listens to albums that have shitty openers.
