On Tuesday I went to the Cloisters with Danielle. If you dont know already, the Cloisters is an extension of the MET dedicated to medieval art/architecture. It is located in Fort Tryon park located at/around 190th street inManhattan. The subway ride through Harlem
washington heights was not as bas as i  expected, nor did I feel threatened.

After looking at tapestry and archways for an hour or two we traveled down 


Obviously we were the only white people on the block. A trek down this streer led us to the subway station that was so far uptown that it was above ground

WE took the train down to 116th and walked around Columbia for a while which was absolutely gorgeous. A lunch at Tom's (the sienfeld place ) was also fab.
Central park and jamba juice obviously ended the day
