I forgot my webcomix!

Years ago, I went through a period where I would regularly watch film criticism shows, I'd read magazine film critics, but I wasn't actually going to films. Was I reading criticism for the sake of reading the criticism? Maybe, but mostly, I wanted to feel current without actually having any budget for, you know, watching movies.

I notice that I've been doing this with comics, now, for a long time. I don't really buy new comics, not like I did years ago. I read webcomix for a long time after I stopped buying print comics, & I continued to hang around the DC Comics Message Boards to stay current on certain series I had a particular interest in.

(Which makes it odd that I'm a comics blogger. Oh, well. I still have a lot of old comix I can blog about, but be warned: Anything I say about new print comics today is suspect, because I'm not paying $4 an issue for less story than I can get from a four-bit back issue. Just saying. Anyway...)

But lately, I've been hanging around LJ, reading blogs, reading scans_daily, trying to blog myself, & I just realized--I hadn't read my regular webcomix for over a week.

Whoa.

scans_daily has become my webcomic?

So I caught up on QC, Scary Go Round, &, of course, Sinfest--which last week had a week-long sub-arc that ended pretty cool.

So I'm linking to that arc. What you need to know: the main character, Slick, has decided to give up sin. The Devil is trying to win him back. Lesbo Snatch-O-Gram in seven parts.

webcomix, sinfest
