Goodbye, LiveJournal

After careful deliberation, I've decided to bid farewell to LiveJournal and switch to Movable Type that I run myself. Now I don't have to compromise between functionality and advertising, don't have to keep my entries on LJ's servers, and can customize the blog as much as I want.

Will it allow you to read friends-only posts?

As far as I know, only LiveJournal allows friends-only posts since you have to log in to LJ to read them. That's the downside.

Yeah, that's why I still check my Friends page every few days. :(

I'm even using a professional style. Sucks. I'll work on it.

Maybe it works in other browsers? I'm using FF3 on OS X, but I doubt anyone in this day and age creates a style that breaks on FireFox.
