Drug-testing for Welfare
Excuse me if I scream. AAAAAAHHHHHHHH !! Thank you. I came across some typical right-wing idiocy and now have to vent. The people that said, “If you receive welfare/government money, you should be screened on a regular basis for drugs.” You single celled life forms have not thought this out, as usual. I could test positive for Opiates simply because I had a couple of dinner rolls with poppy seeds on them. Plus, it’s none of your Goddamn business what I do with my own body !
You claim that the Right is against government intrusion into our affairs. Well, Harold Hypocrite, it’s readily apparent that those rules only apply to you. And don’t think I don’t know what you have to say: “When you take my money, I get to dictate how it’s used.” No, you don’t ! No citizen has ever had the right to say how their tax money is used. Deal with that. First off, let’s get something out of the way. It is NOT your money. You gave it to the government, so it’s no longer yours. Second: If we follow your reason and say you DO get to know as it’s government money, then I submit to you that anything the government funds is open to prying eyes. You go to the library, which is public and funded, therefore we get to know what you’re reading. Walking on the public sidewalk ? Where are you going, citizen? See what a lovely precedent you’ve set.
Third: How many times have you working, law-abiding folks gone in to work still drunk ? You do it a lot. Plus you’re in pain, so you’re full of Opiates. Want me to go on ? Didn’t think you did, you scum sucking vermin. What makes this particularly ironic in my case, is that someone I know that’s a Republican asked me (the disability recipient) to get him some Marijuana ! You fucking hypocrite !
If you’re concerned about lawlessness (which I doubt), then I suggest you be monitored as well. My reasons are as valid as yours: because you have the money to spend on anything, it follows that you are more at risk to do illegal things. If there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that Republicans are well-off and cheaper then the proverbial Scotsman. Being cheap makes you cheat to save money. This makes you susceptible to doing illegal things to keep your money. Welcome to the camp, pal, enjoy your stay.
