My life is so fun.

I just found out today that my High school sweetheart (one-sided, of course!) has been dating Sarah W. for six months! My goodness. I am positively flabbergasted. What has the world come to? Doesn't he know by now that we are totally meant to be?! .....*chortle* I feel so deliciously senile. :)

And one of my dearest friends is coming back from the land far, far away in three weeks and I will be so glad to see her!

And I finally got to talk to roomie Ree-ree about how dumb Bruno is with its ridiculous bordering on Slavic and semitic, violin like crazy obsession with tradition! (No offense to my Russian Jewish friends). But, come on. It's not even May...need I say more? Gah.

And I know what my senior thesis finally is and I must say that I am pumped thus far. I hope everything works out well.

Other than that and including all that...an moment of introspection:

I have grown up a lot in the past year and some odd months. I have more growing to go of course (I'm not at my goal height yet!) but I must say, that as bad as all that was, the reaping benefits have outweighed the hardships of sewing (all those messy needles). And also that I have learned more and more about something for which I don't really have a name other than this odd, outrageous relationship that the Creator of the universe and His Son have with me, which...I don't quite understand... but, I don't know...hm...is just mystifying. How kind He is. And how giving. Now watch me stub my toe and turn on Him for it. I swear. I wouldn't want to be friends with me let a lone do for me what He continues to. I sat outside Saturday on the elephant grave behind the house and pondered this. It was one of the first times that I didn't look at the sky and say, "Where are You?" or "Are You listening?" but "I trust You." And when I said You, I knew it was a You that I didn't comprehend, it was sent to a You outside my mind, who was there before I got there that morning, and who was still there when I left a few minutes later.

It's funny how things work out. Very funny. :)
