Oh my goodness, I can't believe how long it has been since I updated! X__X
Hiiiiiiii~! to all who have kept me on their friends' lists all this time. XD *huggles Linlin for ze comment* (I meant to update right after that, and then got distracted... AGAIN. Always have excuses! *lazylazy*)
Aaaaanywho~ To whom it may concern, Matt and I now have a website in which to showcase our work and sell items. Unfortunately, I've been rather bad about updating it, which is a pity. But yes, it is called
Minuit Bleu. Of course I had to pick a French name, hahaha.... Eek, I've actually had it for like 7 months now... There will eventually be much in the way of jewelry, dolls, and lolita-ish things, most likely... and probably jackets. Because... I love jackets!
I hope the picture works... my server is being all stupid and unreliable. >_<;;;; But... this is Matt and me in our Christmas outfits. Whee. ^_^ I was so rushed! I'm glad I was able to finish them, but... I sure wish I'd gotten Mike to be the Pirate Santa. Ah well~
I'm quite behind in my updates... I have a lot of new clothing and such that need to be put in the galleries, but I'm bad at HTML stuff and so don't like working on it. We haven't even come up with a good ordering system yet. *sigh*
Matt and I also tried a craft fair this year... I made a ton of beaded snowflake ornaments, paid the $20 fee.... and VERY few people even came to the fair! WAHHHH. It was a horrible turnout, but I still managed to make a little money off it... I think like, $30. x_X But at least it was a church fair, so I didn't feel like the $20 was a waste. Then, I showed the remainder to my cousin, and she bought like 6 of them... so that was nice. But... yeah. My dad feels that craft fairs are probably not the way to make a living, hahaha... Matt also made a couple of jewelry boxes to sell, but since the fair was more like a garage sale, he didn't even bother indicating that we were selling them. It was so bad!
BUT, Mr. Matt has a very nice co-worker who is getting married next January. She wants to commission her bridesmaids' dresses from me, with potential for the flowergirls and matching vests for the groomsmen as well. So... yay! Pretty dresses! I designed two prototypes, which I am currently working on. So... that's Erin! Whee!
Oh, if anyone wants to keep up with a more frequently-updated LJ of mine, feel free to add
minuitbleu, which is my sewing/website journal.
