Just saw Closer. Some excellent performances, but an overdone script. Absorbing though!
In the same way that Requiem For A Dream smacks you over the head to say "don't do drugs" this movie says "don't be selfish in relationships" in the most stark way possible. Some of the rawest dialogue ever, you certainly aren't proud to be a human when you leave.
You should see it to remind you that real love is selfless, people are not objects and relationships are extremely dangerous.
