So this has been one of the hardest weeks I've endured--like physically, emotionally and spritually draining. Thursday night as I was headed to Bullwinkles for Wyldlife club...a song came on the radio. I FELL IN LOVE with it! It sounded like a Mac Powell song (who is the lead singer for Third Day) but I couldnt get on the web to see if I was correct in that song. So I was like, "well, I hope it's on the radio again" That song brought tears to my eyes because the lyrcis are exactly what i needed. Every secone I could-I had the radio on to hear it again. FINALLY I heard it yesterday when my mom and I were driving to Winco...but again, I didnt have access to the air1.com website to get the lyrics or see who it was by...and then this morning, as I was listening to 1041thefish.com I heard the song again, but they didnt have a "now playing" list where you can figure out the title, who it is by, and what album each song is by/of...and so I tried calling the station but no one answered. So I just kinda forgot about it. I went downstairs after I wrote my last entry like 10 min ago to start makin lunch and I have air1 playing on my computer (like I am listening to the radio via my computer) and I came upstairs because I heard someone IM me...and the second I walked into the room, the radio was playing the song!!!!! So I finally figured out who it is by. Here are the lyrics:
Third Day - Cry Out To Jesus
From the album Wherever You Are

To everyone who's lost someone they love
Long before it was their time
You feel like the days you had were not enough
when you said goodbye

And to all of the people with burdens and pains
Keeping you back from your life
You believe that there's nothing and there is no one
Who can make it right

Chorus:
There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus

For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They’ve lost all of their faith in love
They've done all they can to make it right again
Still it's not enough

For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
You try to give up but you come back again
Just remember that you're not alone in your shame
And your suffering

Chorus:
When your lonely
And it feels like the whole world is falling on you
You just reach out, you just cry out to Jesus
Cry to Jesus

To the widow who suffers from being alone
Wiping the tears from her eyes
For the children around the world without a home
Say a prayer tonight

Chorus

Label: Essential Records

SO YA. They are some pretty powerful lyrics. Ok, for real now-I gotta work on homework...catch y'all later. If ya wanna hear the song, go to Thirdday.com and turn your sound on...and its the song when you first open the window that's playing...or you can click on music and then find the song there...lol. Gotta go.
