Strapped for cash and being highly qualified by my University of Oklahoma Letters degree for no job whatsoever, I have decided to take up the ancient and esteemed art of divining. Today's signs concern my brother's wedding. Some background:
The bride's parents refuse to attend.
Omen enough, but the events of this morning as well foretell of dark clouds on future horizons.
The police called my brother's apartment this afternoon, where he lives with his fiancee. Local law enforcement had found her car burned out on an isolated road somewhere, stolen either the night before on early this morning. My brother and his gal wouldn't know because the first they heard of it was from the police. Now she doesn't have an easy way to make it to the wedding (Samantha and my brother must travel to Oklahoma from Tennessee separately, I'm not sure why). The burgled car is insured, so insurance should provide her with cash for another, and she can drive my brother's second car if necessary, so it isn't a disaster. But still, awful strange.
And really, I hope everything works out well with the marriage.
