(no subject)
i haven't been updating lately, not because i have nothing to talk about, but because i've been too busy with my girl, work and friends. here's a quick run-down of what i've been up to the last few weeks (no dates)
obviously i've been spending a lot of time with Jen. we've spent most of our time just chillin at either one of our houses. that's just one of the things i love about her. she's as CHEAP as me! lol. just kidding. we just enjoy sitting around and enjoying each other's company. of course, we do get out too! we hit up BBT on a regular basis and watch the occasional movie.
we saw DODGEBALL on tuesday. holy crap, it was funny. her favourite line is "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball." mine was "If you can dodge traffic, you can dodge a ball." lol! more recently, we spent Canada Day together and watched the fireworks at Mel Lastman Square. they were nice, but too brief. we're going to Niagara Falls next weekend. Can anyone say "JACUZZI SUITE"? rawr!!!
it was alwayz_connie's birthday on June 17th, but we didn't do anything for it. it was lil_trinket's b-day on the 18th, and we went Salsa dancing at Babaluu's in Yorkville. so we "sorta" celebrated both their birthday's together.
Denny's birthday was on June 25th and Spencer's on the 26th. We celebrated them together at Gerrit's house. we had a bbq with lots of booze. even Jen got a bit buzzed. =P Me, Jen, Gerrit, Spencer, Denny, Peter, Francis, Dave Smith, Shane and Anthony were in attendance.
CANADA DAY. Me and sailorp had a beach party planned. It went splendidly, despite the fact that we had to eat on the ground (sand) because we didn't manage to get a picnic table! It was quite a turnout. more than 40 people showed up over the course of the day. Half of which neither me or Dee even knew! LOL. It was a great day with great weather! that night Me, Jen, Peter, Spencer and Rose watched the fireworks at Mel Lastman. O'Canada! pictures soon.
