Snow!!!
It snowed today...obviously...but I didn't realize this until I stepped out my front door, already running about ten minutes late....I look out, my jaw drops open and I head to my car....Once I turn onto Cornell I realize this is more serious than I thought. Cars were fishtailing everywhere and there were wrecks on every corner. There was one at an intersection and traffic was detoured, but when I got to a "fork" in the road, I turned the wrong way and ended up back at my house....a half hour later....ughghghghg....so after I literally drove probably 15 miles out of my way going 5 miles an hour in the ice and snow I tell my boss I'm heading back home. The weather scared me too much. He said cool...whatever...I'll have to use my PTO...whatever..I didnt want to get stuck in our parking lot at work. Now I have lots of fun to look forward to when I get to work tomorrow. I called my mom today on my way to work and cried about how poor I am and how much I hate work....I think that she might front me some $$....I hate asking...but I have no one to blame but myself. I'll get a hefty tax refund and will reimburse her with that. Crossing my fingers that she can get me some $$ with which I will pay bills. Yay...ughg..haha
San Fran was fun! My parents drive me crazy sometimes though when we're traveling....I tried my hardest to be pleasant and I think for the most part I pulled it off...But my parents are so sensitive though. I have to remember that I can't flick them the same shit that I give to other people, they take it too personally and get all butt hurt about it. Ughg..so annoying. Aaron went with us and that was fantastic as well..We have another wedding to attend the first weekend in June and perhaps we'll bring Ethan to that one. I was just trying to look ahead on the calendar to see if that was our weekend or not, but then I remembered that the custody stuff should be all figured out by then, and it might be different..don't know...maybe we can trade her or something, it'd be nice to take him with us. I missed him a lot.
I watched American Idol tonight. I love that show but man, show us some good singers....I guess they figure you get to see good singers for the next six months, might as well show the bad ones now. Whatever..it's entertaining nonetheless.
