i remember it well...
so it's been a while since my last update. at least i think it has. time passes me by so quickly these days i can barely keep track of what day it is. i was about to say not much has happened but i guess its been an eventful few weeks/days. started working (at long last) last monday. call center work, but the admin side rather than the answering the phone side. been there for just over a week, and only one about half a days worth of work. also moved into my new place last saturday, although i'm being kicked out next weekend. apparently my past experiences with cocaine didn't sit too well with the landlady. either way, rusty has a spare room sitting there waiting for a tenant so i should be fine. its all finally sorted itself out. what annoys me is that if i'd tried, i could have done all this months ago. still. better late than never i guess.
i actually started keeping a journal (as contrived as that sounds) a couple of weeks ago. had planned on putting it all on here, but for the first time in my life i've been completely honest with myself in writing it, and don't think i'm ready to disclose that much to you yet. sat in the living room of what would have been my new home watching twister. actually love this movie.
to return (for a second) to my usual complaining, almost self-pitying ways, i find it amazing how quickly people can forget about things that are supposed to be important to them. niamh has just came in with her tea and is trying to explain gaelic football. i still don't get it, bit for the last twenty minutes, i have stopped typing whilst we talked about pretty much everything that wasn't the american election.
going to stop. not because i have nothing to say but because i'm trying to have a conversation with niamh (and i'm using her laptop and have a feeling she wants it back).
will try and finish this as soon as possible (as if you care) and fill you in on the rest of my life. to beer and cigarettes!
