Well if you're in or near Violet City, I th-think I can help. My name's Otacon, and I'm a mechanical engineer. There's a basic set of tools here in the Pokemon Center, presumably for fixing the machines here. If you have anything that needs repairing, come by and I'll give it my best shot.
[A pause--a Flaaffy peeks over his shoulder with a curious little sheep look.]

'Into every life a little rain must fall'. In other words...uh...oh, I know! Even with science advancing like it has, you can't control the weather. Not yet, at least. It'll always rain, snow, be too sunny or too cold...weather's just something that happens. All we can do is prepare for the worst and let it pass. So in other words, don't fight the inevitable. Just prepare for it the best that you can. Persevere until you've gotten through it.
