“Should get up, shouldn’t we?” Gregory asked as the two of them lie there with an early spring’s afternoon sun. Orla was using Gregory’s bare chest as a pillow, her feet just hanging off the edge of their very large bed and her arms firmly encircling Gregory’s waist.
She shook her head no, causing her blonde curls to tickle him producing a low, rumbling laugh. She could feel his paunch vibrating with the sound and smiled even as she raised a hand to his lips to quiet him.
Feeling mischievous he lightly bit down on the palm of her hand and then kissed it. He sighed and then closed his eyes, enjoying the moment for what it was.
