The last of 2010

Here's the last batch of pictures from 2010.

First off, another panorama! This one is from a trip to Hokkaido for the Shakaijin Field Nationals in September. Okurayama Ski Jump stadium:

And one from a trip to the Sapporo beer factory! We toured the Sapporo beer museum, and had some pretty awesome grill and beer tasting.

Next up, a pre-wedding trip to Hakone! We rode a pirate ship!

The ship's gunner.

This is the ship sailing off into the sunset.

Playing with the sunset.

A torii at Hakone's lake shrine.

Another shot at the lake. I liked how the light fell through the trees here.

Back home and a quick trip to Yokohama. I had no idea you could see Mt. Fuji from the bay!

A shot along the bay. Really like how the composition came out on this.

Aaaaaand... We got married! 10/10/10 was the big day for us, and we rounded it off with a dinner cruise through Tokyo bay.
(The only thing we did on this day was hand in the forms to the district office, so no romantics here...)

Taken from said cruise ship: Tokyo's rainbow bridge!

Went to Kyoto for one of my senpai's wedding ceremony.. This was happening right across the street:
The lady in the Kimono was in some kind of photo shoot, and I liked the balance with the red maple on the other time of the creek.

Used the chance to do some sightseeing in Kyoto. Been a while, and as always I stopped by Kiyomizu temple:

Kiyomizu is famous for its autumn scenery, and this was the first time in years I got to see it...
Good thing I got the chance.

Mt. Fuji from the bullet train ride back:

Then came December, and with it, our wedding. My mom, sister, and best friend simon, were in town, And we did some sight seeing before and after the ceremony:

A picture of my mom in the midst of the bustle of Harajuku:

I'll post the wedding photos later on since we just got them...

For year's end, we went on a little trip to Nara:

Deer everywhere!

I loved this place (Kasuga Daijingu)... It was snowing and really really cold tho.

In front of the hall housing the great buddha statue in Todaiji temple:

Said buddha statue:

And its protectors:

Probably our favorite, Joruriji Temple:
