I badly need to post some videos and photos of what's been going on. I'd love to introduce y'all to Michelle and my froggies, and to share in images some of the adventures that we've had. And once my apartment gets cleaned up today I'd like to share that with everyone too. :)
Now for a few items of news.
1) Two days ago my left piercing got infected, but it appears that we nipped that in the bud. Today the swelling and tenderness are way down and it feels and looks almost like the other (which is healing beautifully.)
2) Michelle got a job. Yay Michelle! :D It's her first working experience in America, actually. She went through a three-round interview process to get hired on at Macy's. I'm proud of her, and excited to think of what our life will be like with more than just my measly income. The bad part, though, is that I won't get to see her as much since she'll be working most weekends. :...( She'll probably get one weekend and one saturday off a month, plus she'll be working late as often as not. That's not gonna be too weird when I'm working late too, but it is gonna be sad not to see her all weekend every weekend. It's gonna be different too when I don't come home to her smiling face and a hot meal every night. But hey, at least we're nailing down those big things in life. We've got our cozy apartment, our bicycles and state park passes, we eat well, we watch movies at home most nights, we've got our furniture including a big comfy bed...life is good in the Broderick-McCormick household. :D :D :D :D <3 <3

4) OH, I remember now. Becca gave me back the engagement ring. *whew* It wasn't so much that I objected to her having it, I just objected to the way she took it and the way that she thought that for her to keep the trinket and for me to keep the debt was somehow an even split. >_< I'll probably have a hard time re-selling it, since it's pretty unique. Or as some (not me) might say, "ugly." Soooooo, anyone looking for a mokume-gane ring set in 18k rose gold with a platinum head and an untreated flawless yellow Ceylon sapphire? I can get you a good deeeeeeaaal. :D
