I think I very well may be the only person in the band not going to the Halloween party tonight. Instead, Deanna has a hot date with her clarinet. It may not be as cool as a Halloween party, but I know I'm going to have a good time. :-)
My senior recital is two weeks from today (shameless plug: November 13th at 8 in Meek). Is Deanna scared to death? Of course not! :-)
I'm convinced that Chris is the coolest boyfriend in the world. He bought me a pumpkin today. :-) Clearly, pumpkins seem to be the key to my heart.
Last week I played in a masterclass with Stanley Drucker at Loyola. As amazing and memorable as it was, I think the highlight of my week was getting to spend some wonderful quality time with the oh-so-cool Kieffer family. They're such a great family.
I found out last week that I'm student teaching at Oxford High School in the spring. I'm very excited about this! I can't believe that I'm almost done with all my classes at Ole Miss. It's crazy stuff!
A couple nights ago Chris called me a fair-weather fan when it comes to Florida State. Unfortunately, he may be right. I need to take note from all of you Saints fans out there. Florida State is currently 4-4. I don't remember the last time it was this bad. I need to stick with them though. :-)
