BLARRRRRRRRRRRG :B
Late night update because I am bored. And tired. But I can't sleep until my room cools down which will be a while since my mom JUUUUST turned the a/c on despite complaining about how hot it's been all day.
I am in Michigan right now, went to my cousin's grad party on Saturday, hung out with my friend Rachel (who I hadn't seen in like...2 years) on Friday. I am so bad about keeping in touch with people :(
The grad party was okay, I had some jello shots and ate some free food and watched my aunt and uncle's middle aged friends get progressively drunker and stupider hahaha The most awkward part though was talking to my family that I haven't seen in a while. I even got the boyfriend interrogation from my gma :| honestly when I finally do find someone that I like enough to give a title like that I will probably keep him top secret. Like briefcase chained to my arm top secret to keep my family from ever discovering him. They are so crazy.
I am going back to Chicago on Tuesday. I have a job! Well, I think I do. So on the 26, I went to Target and did an interview. The manager interviewing me wanted to hire me, but the HR people had gone home so I had to come back Monday to have the job formally offered to me and to get my paperwork. So I came back Monday, did that, and went and took my drug test.
Fast forward to now, July 11. Yeah. June 28-July 11, still have not gotten a call back from Target about when to start my orientation (which they schedule after they get a clean drug test back from you) and they told me the drug test should take a week at most to get results from. My roommate found a number for them on my paperwork since I decided to call them while I was here in MI (their number isn't online since they're not officially open yet) but since they don't work on weekends because they're still just setting up the store I have to wait till Monday :| I will be 18 kinds of pissed if I have to take the drug test again (peeing in a cup is hard) or if I somehow failed my test and they just chose not to call me. Which really, I don't see how that could happen. I don't do drugs. HONESTLY. Especially not when I know I'm taking a drug test soon.
I also have an interview Wednesday morning at this weird little hostel a block or so from my apartment. It could be a nice second job, and it's walking distance so I won't even have to donate any money to the CTA to get there hahaha I also went on an interview for a job in my school's library in the fall, and will hopefully get some sort of office job at my school so I can use my work study money ;D
Finally, lately I have been absolutely ADDICTED to Entourage. In the last three and a half weeks I have watched seasons 1-5 in their entirety, and seen the first episode of season 7. I'll watch the second episode as soon as I find it online because we don't have HBO. Season 6 comes out on DVD on Netflix July 20, so I am eagerly anticipating that because I loooove the special features just as much as the actual episodes. I'm such a nerd for behind the scenes info. I don't know if any of you guys watch the show, but it's hilarious. Can't believe I didn't check it out sooner.
