The Christmas Night gig was interesting as
smegmeister was sick as well as Kim, so we had no soprano and no bass. Therefore Karen and
mstakenidentity sang soprano,
fin sang bass, and Justin and I filled in the middle parts...
As for the cricket, it would have been nice to see Tendulkar bat, except that he was out for a golden duck. The other event of the day was no disappointment: RotK rocks - but you already knew that! Also, it's definitely an improvement on TTT. We hardly noticed it was 2.30 am by the end of the film...
After dominating the first day, India let the opportunity slip on the second morning while Emma and I slept in, and lost six wickets for 16 runs. We got to the `G' just after lunch in time to see Hayden and Ponting build their centuries. Australia are now back in control; today we spent the day with Séan & Kathryn Saxton and Catherine Burke as Ponting ploughed on to a massive 257.
The only annoyance is the slight bit of sunburn we got on Boxing Day.
