And I'm back in Palmerston North, with my head feeling like I just spent the last four hours in a windy car, instead of a much shorter time on a bumpy plane. Wow. We dropped out of the air almost! Only not really. It's just too hard to guess how much we did rock about. More than I liked. Now the wind is howling around the motel and my legs have stopped shaking and the spa downstairs is calling my name, but that'll happen after dinner, and dinner'll happen after my stomach gathers itself together again.
So I'm here till Friday, and then probably next week.
The view was AWESOME. Mostly I love flying, except at the moment because I would much rather be on the ground in Chch with my peeps. But after we cleared the sun/hail in Chch and before we hit the mad wind in PN it was clear, with clouds over the alps in the distance and the sun doing the Maui's rope thing it does, and shining off all the rivers. There's this scene in Guardian of the Dead where Ellie's flying and can see all the different mythologies - it was a bit like that.
Trying to decide what to do.
Batteries are dead in my camera so I can't do a silly photoshoot with my penguin like last week.
Although the toilet paper in the loo is folded like Jen and Cath fold it (I crack up every time.)
I should go shopping so I have breakfast things (and dinner but stomach says noooo and one must listen to ones stomach or end up in misery.) Also I think I need cough drops. Stupid throat.
I could listen to Amanda Palmer really loud and lie on the floor for a while.
That sounds like enough of a plan for now.
