(no subject)
AWESOMELY I have the third book in the Chaos Walking series in my pile behind me, and one day, book gods willing, I will find someone who is as excited by this prospect as me.
WOEFULLY I am almost near the end of Matt De La Pena's We Were Here and need to finish it first, although I am finding it very hard to believe in any kind of hope for the ending of this book.

BUT in other book related I have fed darclady all my Robin McKinley.

ACTUALLY there is one more piece of book related news (other than the rest of my life sixteenthousandsevenhundredthankyouverymuch) and that is I will be in Nimbin during the Chch writers festival and I am going to MISS Karen Healey and Emily Maguire D: VERY SAD.
Here's something that has nothing to do with books: The shower head fell on my head in the shower just before.
Nimbin though. Oh man, guys. I'm going to relax SO HARD. I keep realising how tense I am and have to force myself to go all floppy. Floppyfloppycracksnapplepop. Having a hard time convincing myself that I don't have to go to work tomorrow.
Lara had a birthday the other day! It was mostly hilarious! And any bits that weren't hilarious were quickly made hilarious with the addition of margaritas. And magnificent lopsided boobiecake.
