Cath's gone again! Jen's on the net in bed (though maybe she's asleep now) and I'm supposed to be sleeping too but Amanda Palmer's Ampersand is too pretty to stop.

Mum is on at me to get a customer servise job so I can put it on my CV and make it look better than it is. She didn't think my explanation of "No I'm not looking for a job right now because I really don't want to get one and be working the whole time Lara and Lewi are here because I haven't seen them for years and I'd rather spend time with them that make my CV shiny" was a very good one. "Yes but you can spend your whole life like that," she said, to which I took my parsley and left rather rudely to make my scrambled eggs.
But no, soon as the lovely Lara and Lewi have left I WILL look madly for a job because I REALLY WANT to get to one of Emilie's concerts next year. THAT is my motivation, not so I can put it on a CV. Whatever. I'm not career minded (you might have guessed...) And I don't see why I need to be. I'm happy, I have a job, I even volunteer, isn't that enough?
Anyway, I think I found a Border's voucher while cleaning my desk, so all up today ROCKED.
