You know what's funny? Cassandra Clare. She's a crack up. Or perhaps it was the hour (was reading till, like, 5 or 6 this morning) but there are so many similarities between City of Bones (not, as I just wrote, City of Boners, which would be a completely different story) and Draco Trilogy.
For instance, Jace drawls. And is arrogant with funnyness. And knows what bergamot is. And, and, and, oh, maybe you had to be there.
And there are Tithe references, which made me very excited. I love it when Holly Black and Cassandra Clare do shout outs to each other in their books, it makes me happy. I'm easily pleased.
Since we're talking about books, The Raw-Shark Texts is AMAZING! It's by Steven Hall. It's about... concepts. It's not really something I can explain while in pajamas. The characters are probably some of the best characters I've ever read, in fact it's probably one of the best books I'ver ever read, even though it's a mindtrip. It's on crack. It is so freaking high on crack. But it's so brilliantly written that you don't really care.
You Suck by Christopher Moore is the best vampire book I've ever read, because of the utter hilarity poured into ever sentence and character and plot twist.
And LIBRARY BOOKSALE! You know the one. It's on the 25-26th of May this year. At the Pioneer Stadium, as usual.
Uni now!
